Commission Assistant

Join Darktrace's Sales Compensation team as a Commission Assistant. In this detail-focused role, you will ensure accurate and timely sales commissions and incentive payments across multiple regions. You will work closely with colleagues in Sales Operations, Finance, HR, and Payroll, using data analysis and problem-solving skills to keep processes running effectively. This is an opportunity to develop your knowledge of global compensation processes and make a meaningful impact through continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Administering and processing sales commissions and incentive payments in line with agreed compensation plans and local requirements.
• Using Excel and compensation systems to validate sales performance data, check payment calculations and investigate discrepancies.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, including automation and standardisation, and supporting projects involving systems, reporting and compensation policies.

Requirements

• Excel skills and attention to detail: you can organise spreadsheets, use formulas and carefully check data and calculations
• Organisation and initiative: you can manage priorities, meet deadlines and recognise when to resolve an issue independently or seek support
• An analytical approach: you enjoy investigating discrepancies, understanding how calculations work and finding practical solutions
• Clear communication and collaboration: you can explain information, ask questions and work effectively with colleagues across different teams
• Experience in sales compensation, finance, payroll or data administration would be valuable, particularly if you have worked with commission calculations or improved operational processes
• We welcome applications from people with relevant professional experience, as well as those earlier in their careers who can demonstrate strong Excel skills, accuracy and a willingness to learn

Preferred

• Experience with VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP is particularly useful
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Xactly or similar systems is also welcome, but previous sales compensation experience is not essential
