Match score
A resume job match score before you apply
Jobapplier gives you a resume job match score for each posting: how close your resume is to the skills and words the posting asks for. Every job also gets a score against your profile, so the good ones come first. The same match shows on the job, in the Tailor window and in the browser extension.
- Job score

How it works
- 1Set your target titles and skills on your profile.
- 2Each job in the list gets a score from 0 to 100: your titles, your skills, the years it asks for and its work model.
- 3Open a job from Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday or any other source to see your resume's match with it, from 0 to 10.
- 4Tailor the resume and see the match before and after.
What it does
- Job score, 0 to 100
- Each listing's score comes with one line saying why, such as which of your skills and titles it matched and the years it asks for. The Agent's rules read this score.
- Resume match, 0 to 10
- How close the resume is to the posting, read by a language model trained on job postings. It shows on the resume list, the job, the Tailor window and the extension's panel.
- Resume health
- Your master and any resume you upload get a set of plain checks: readable text, contact details, standard headings, dates with months, length, and the keywords most asked for in jobs with your titles.

Good to know
- A score is worked out once and stays: a resume's match changes when you change the resume.
- Your answers to equal-opportunity questions never go into any score.
- Scores show on every plan. See pricing.
Questions about match score
How can I check my resume against a job description?
Open the job on Jobapplier, or its application form with the browser extension, and its resume match shows from 0 to 10, with the posting's skills your resume has and the ones it lacks. Tailor the resume to see the match before and after.
How is the job score worked out?
Each job gets a score from 0 to 100 against your profile: your target titles, your skills, the years of experience the posting asks for and its work model. One line under it says why. The Agent's rules can read this score.
Does a score change on its own?
No. A score is worked out once and stays. A resume's match changes when you change the resume.
Do my equal-opportunity answers count in a score?
No. Your answers to equal-opportunity questions never go into any score.
How much does it cost?
Scores show on every plan. Pro costs $39.99 a month, $89.99 every 3 months or $17.99 a week. Sales tax or VAT is included, many countries pay less, and you can cancel any time.
