Join SUEZ, a global leader in environmental services, as a QA/QC Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting all repair and refurbishment works, ensuring compliance with SUEZ-issued method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), approved material specifications, and contract requirements. You will serve as the primary quality assurance interface between SUEZ and the repair contractor, ensuring that completed works meet the required standard before acceptance.

Responsibilities

  • Review and comment on Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) submitted by the repair contractor for each repair method, including CIPP relining, joint sealing, patch repairs, manhole rehabilitation, and grouting.
  • Conduct pre-repair inspections to verify that repair zones have been correctly identified, isolated, and prepared in accordance with approved method statements, and witness and document ITP hold points and witness points.
  • Inspect completed repairs and verify conformance with the approved method statement, material specification, and engineering drawings issued by SUEZ, and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any works that deviate from the approved method.

Requirements

  • –Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical or equivalent discipline from a recognized university.
  • –Minimum 6 years of post-graduate experience, of which at least 3 years in QA/QC inspection or supervision on infrastructure or utility network projects.
  • –Demonstrable experience in developing, reviewing and implementing ITPs and Method Statements.
  • –Familiarity with CCTV sewer inspection interpretation and post-repair verification.
  • –Knowledge of relevant standards: ISO 9001, EN 13508 (sewer condition assessment) or equivalent.

Preferred

  • –Experience with CIPP relining, pipe rehabilitation or underground utility repair works is strongly preferred.
  • –A recognised QA/QC qualification (e.g., ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, IRCA Lead Auditor or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Valid UAE driving licence — field travel across Abu Dhabi required.
