Operations Manager

• Join SUEZ, a global leader in environmental services, as an Operations Manager. In this role, you will oversee our water investments in Poland, manage the operation of two wastewater treatment plants, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will also be responsible for achieving operational and financial goals, managing emergency situations, and leading teams. The ideal candidate will have a higher technical education, at least 8-10 years of experience in the water and wastewater or environmental sectors, and strong leadership and negotiation skills.
• Supervision of the operation of two wastewater treatment plants, monitoring operational efficiency, and implementing optimization measures.
• Responsibility for achieving operational goals, quality, environmental, and financial targets, and managing emergency situations.
• Leading teams responsible for operations and investments, ensuring effective cooperation between organizational units, and controlling operational costs.

Profile (Professional Experience & Qualifications)

Education

Higher technical education (preferred: environmental engineering, water management, environmental protection, or related fields).

Experience

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the water and wastewater or environmental sectors.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position.

Experience in managing the operation of wastewater treatment plants and/or water and sewage infrastructure is an additional asset.

Ability to manage a multi-site/distributed organization.

Ability to manage a budget and analyze financial metrics.

Knowledge of water law, environmental protection regulations, and public procurement (an advantage).

Highly developed leadership and negotiation skills.

Skills

English proficiency at a communicative level.

Category B driver's license.
