Senior Technical Product Manager

Instructure, a leading educational technology company, as a Senior Technical Product Manager. In this collaborative role, you will own the product roadmaps for cross-product initiatives and shared components, working closely with various internal teams.

• You will define and manage the product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, engage with internal development teams, and foster strong working relationships with stakeholders.
• Additionally, you will manage the entire product lifecycle, track key metrics, and lead cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Experience working in an Agile development environment, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and iterative development
• Proven ability to translate complex technical and legal requirements into clear and concise product specifications, ensuring shared understanding with internal partners
• 4+ years of experience in product management or technical product management, ideally with a significant focus on platform services and components
• Knowledge of and experience with user management and permissions in complex org structures including cross-org trusts or consortiums is a plus
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and influence cross-functional teams, particularly engineering and design
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development principles, frameworks, and best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Product Management or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in building and managing shared component libraries or platform solutions, with a track record of successful collaboration with engineering teams
• Experience applying modern product practices and AI-enabled workflows to accelerate learning cycles, experimentation, and delivery
