Software Engineer

Join our Developer Tools Team as a Software Engineer. You'll work on APIs and customer-facing UIs that empower MongoDB users to interact with their data. Ideal candidates have experience with modern web application design, databases, TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Developer Tools Team to design and implement APIs and customer-facing UIs for MongoDB users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a distributed environment, ensuring the health and performance of MongoDB deployments.
• Contribute to the architecture and development of modern, scalable, high availability web applications, utilizing TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Enjoys collaboration and being part of a team

Requirements

• Has experience with the design and architecture of a modern, scalable, high availability web application
• Has experience working with databases

Experience working with TypeScript, React, and Node.js

• Is a full stack engineer with a willingness to take on both frontend tasks and backend tasks
• Knowledge of database internals and tuning mechanisms, particularly indexing
• Experience working with websocket based client to server communication
• Familiarity with developing and supporting microservice based architectures using Kubernetes
