Associate Technical Services Engineer

Responsibilities

• You'll work directly with customers to understand complex technical challenges, identify root causes, and provide practical solutions for large-scale, data-intensive environments.
• You'll also advocate for customers' needs, interface with product management and development teams, and contribute to internal projects.
• Ideal candidates should have strong technical experience in areas such as performance tuning, distributed systems, and application architecture.
• Assisting customers in building and operating reliable MongoDB applications and deployments.
• Identifying root causes of complex technical challenges and providing practical solutions for large-scale environments.
• Advocating for customers' needs by interfacing with product management and development teams on their behalf.
• Database architecture and administration

Requirements

• We consider all candidates with an eye for those who are self-taught, insatiably curious, and multi-faceted
• Extra bonus points if you have experience in one or more of Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, Javascript, node.js, Go, PHP, or Perl
• Data architecture and design
• The ideal candidates should have strong technical experience in one (or more) of the following areas
• Application Architecture
• If you have an operations background, we prefer experience administering large-scale production environments, including hardware, operating systems (e.g. Linux, Windows), networks (including firewalls and load balancers), as well as cloud-based resources (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
