Software Engineer (Cell Orchestration)

In this role, you will develop software interfaces for industrial machinery and work closely with robotics, mechanical, and controls engineers. You will help scale Hadrian into a multi-factory company across the US. Develop software to coordinate mechatronic devices for automated manufacturing cells and create human-machine interfaces.

Ensure seamless software integration of automated manufacturing systems into Hadrian factories and build data logging pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong ability and desire to work directly with hardware on the factory floor
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions with incomplete information and deliver complex systems on schedule
• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with proficiency in Python, TypeScript, C#, or C++
• Backend TypeScript experience and comfort working across orchestration, machine interfaces, and data pipelines
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA or Profinet
• Experience developing software to interface with physical systems in manufacturing, industrial automation, robotics, or 3D printing
