Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Join Matternet, a leading company in the drone delivery industry, as a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack). In this hands-on role, you will own and deliver web applications used by operators, partners, and customers. You will also build and extend backend services and APIs, set frontend architecture and standards, and ensure the quality of what ships through testing and code review. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, and experience in operationally critical domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• An eye for usable, reliable UX in operational or data-heavy applications
• Solid backend skills in Node.js/TypeScript, including API design and relational databases
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with experience building on modern web frameworks
• 6+ years building and operating production web applications, with a track record of owning major features or products independently
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and CI/CD
• Experience with authentication and identity providers

Preferred

• Experience with real-time data, mapping, dashboards, or operational control interfaces
• UAV, aerospace, logistics, or other operationally critical domain experience
• Experience with e-commerce or ordering platforms
• Experience using AI coding assistants to accelerate development

USD 195,000 - 235,000
