About Chip

We’re looking for someone who’s genuinely excited about Chip and energised by the opportunity to help build the future of wealth, making saving, investing and pensions simpler and more accessible for everyone

We work in a regulated space, so the bar is high. But we’ve built a team of smart, thoughtful people who care about doing great work and enjoy doing it together. Technical skills matter, obviously. But they’re not the only thing we hire for

We want real people. People with interests, perspective and personality. The best teams are made up of individuals who bring different experiences into the room, not just polished CVs and good interview answers

Responsibilities

  • Own intake and prioritisation of data requests from across the business, and set and meet turnaround SLAs.
  • Supply accurate and timely reporting, analysis and operational data to teams including Finance, Marketing, Product and Operations.

Requirements

  • Strong SQL and experience with BI tools; comfortable interpreting and challenging data
  • Experience prioritising competing requests from a range of stakeholders
  • Experience managing or leading a team of data analysts, ideally in a fast-paced, product-led or regulated environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Able to translate business problems into clear technical requirements
  • Understanding of operational controls and data quality
  • Strong data storytelling for a range of audiences
  • So alongside the technical side, we’ll be looking for empathy, self-awareness, sound judgement, resilience and a collaborative mindset. People who are good to work with, especially when things get hard

Familiarity with modern data tooling (e.g. Databricks, Python)

  • Working knowledge of data governance, including safe use of AI tools with customer data
  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related field

Preferred

  • Experience in fintech or financial services
