Candidate Experience Specialist (Contractor)

GitLab as a Candidate Experience Specialist, where you'll shape the candidate experience from initial contact to offer and handoff to the People Operations team. You'll collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and recruiting leadership to execute hiring plans, coordinate interviews, and maintain accurate processes in our applicant tracking system. As a brand ambassador, you'll ensure candidates receive timely and thoughtful communication, and you'll focus on building strong relationships with hiring teams and supporting GitLab's goal of hiring a qualified, diverse, and motivated team in an all-remote, global environment.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally with candidates and internal stakeholders at all levels, including executives

Proficiency with Google Workspace, scheduling tools, and a willingness to learn and use additional tools

Skill using an applicant tracking system to schedule, track, and move candidates through interview stages; Greenhouse experience is beneficial but not required

Interest in learning about talent acquisition and contributing to an inclusive hiring process that attracts a qualified, diverse, and motivated team

Experience supporting end to end hiring processes in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers, ideally in a fast paced or high volume environment
