FP&A Analyst

Join Dotmatics, the world's largest cloud-based scientific research R&D platform, as an FP&A Analyst. In this critical role, you will drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities across the company, providing valuable analysis of financial and operating metrics. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of finance-related experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional management/team to lead monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate business performance, assess risk, and support decision-making. Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the financial impact of various strategic initiatives and provide recommendations.
• Proactively monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), business drivers and unit economics to highlight short and long-term risks and/or opportunities.

Requirements

• You will also have 5+ years of finance related experience in a corporate setting and the ability to articulate financial concepts
• You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable working with team members of all levels, You will be a highly motivated, self-aware, collaborative, responsive individual and you will have natural curiosity
• We are looking for people who have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience
• Strong business acumen and understanding of the foundations of finance/accounting
• Able to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and tasks in parallel
• Ability to quickly learn new systems, including financial software applications. Prior experience with NetSuite, CRMs and/or enterprise planning (Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion) is a plus
• Expert financial modeling experience and a willingness to dig into the details
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and G-suite

Preferred

• Prior experience in either SaaS or with M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions)
