Senior Backend Software Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Backend Software Engineer, where you will play a key role in shaping the architecture and development of our AI platform. You will collaborate with architects, designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to influence product direction, refine functional requirements, and deliver high-performance, scalable software products and APIs. Your responsibilities will include leading the design and implementation of robust services and APIs, maintaining and improving CI/CD and release pipelines, and identifying and resolving bugs and performance bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des services et des API robustes et évolutifs.
• Participer aux revues de conception et de code pour renforcer la qualité, la performance et la maintenabilité du logiciel.
• Identifier et résoudre les bogues et les goulets d'étranglement de performance pour améliorer la qualité et la réactivité de l'application.
• Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to work with global, cross-functional teams across time zones
• Experience building secure, complex, and scalable APIs, from design through deployment

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with code quality tools such as SonarQube, PMD, and Checkstyle
• Experience with OAuth, logging, and security frameworks
• A strong foundation in writing, testing, and delivering high-quality, maintainable code

Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, Gradle, and Linux

• Strong experience using Claude and other large language models (LLMs) to support software development
• Experience with SQL development, data modeling, and complex data structures for high-volume, high-velocity data, as well as experience working with NoSQL technologies
• Demonstrated success leading technical design and implementation, mentoring engineers, and guiding projects through delivery
• 5+ years of software development experience using Java and/or Python
