Full Stack Software Engineer

Join Parallel Systems as a Software Engineer I on the Interfaces team. In this junior role, you will have real ownership and the opportunity to learn and grow quickly. You will build and improve the operator and customer product platform using TypeScript, React, and Rust. You will work closely with product and vehicle/systems engineers to create clear and reliable interfaces. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to set up your environment, own a feature end-to-end, and contribute to the operator application and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Participer à la construction et à l'amélioration de la plateforme de produits pour les opérateurs et les clients en utilisant TypeScript, React et Rust.
• Assumer la responsabilité des fonctionnalités de bout en bout, de la compréhension des besoins de l'utilisateur à la mise en œuvre, aux tests, à la documentation et au suivi après la fusion.
• Contribuer de manière fiable à l'application pour les opérateurs, en identifiant et en corrigeant de manière autonome les problèmes sans attendre d'être assigné.
• Comfortable writing software in TypeScript or Rust and component-based UI (React or similar). You can read other people's code and leave it better than you found it

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (bootcamp plus portfolio, research, or shipped projects are fine)
• A track record of picking up a new tool, language, or domain and becoming useful with it, whether through a class project, internship, research, open source, or something you built because you wanted it to exist
• Project or professional experience with Rust, React, TypeScript, or Python
• Experience pairing with AI coding tools and being honest about what they got wrong
• Exposure to desktop wrappers (Electron, Tauri), backend development, or databases
• Coursework or projects touching networks, operating systems, or distributed systems
