Software Engineer (Security)

Join our team as a Software Engineer (Security) and lead the charge in enhancing security across our engineering teams. This role is not client-facing or product-focused, but rather a critical position that will involve working closely with our CISO, CTO, and engineering leaders. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on how we build securely and will have the backing of our leadership team.

We are looking for an engineer with a genuine interest in security, who wants to make it their focus and is excited by the freedom to build something from the ground up

Responsibilities

• Construire une image claire de l'état actuel de la sécurité de l'ingénierie et convenir d'un plan d'amélioration avec le CTO et le CISO.
• Apporter des outils de sécurité cohérents dans chaque pipeline, y compris le balayage des informations d'identification, l'analyse de la composition logicielle (SCA), les tests de sécurité des applications statiques (SAST) et dynamiques (DAST).

Requirements

• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le CISO et l'équipe de sécurité pour transformer les objectifs de sécurité en systèmes fonctionnels.
• The ability to influence engineers and win support for change without formal authority
• A good understanding of secure development practices and common application vulnerabilities
• Experience using AI coding tools in your day-to-day work
• A genuine interest in security and a clear motivation to make it the focus of your work

Fluent written and spoken English

• Strong system design skills, including reading architecture diagrams and spotting the security risks in them
• Mid-level to senior experience building production systems, in any language
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

Preferred

Experience building AI agents or LLM-based automation

• DevOps experience in a regulated enterprise, such as financial services
• Experience introducing security tooling, such as SAST, DAST, SCA or secret scanning, into an enterprise
