Software Engineer Internship (HPI Students)

Join Taktile, a leading fintech company, as a Software Engineer Intern. This opportunity is exclusively for Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) students. You'll work in Berlin for 6 months, gaining hands-on industry experience and mentorship from experienced engineers. You'll have the chance to work on backend components in Python/FastAPI or frontend components in React/Typescript. This internship is designed for computer science students eager to kickstart their engineering careers.

Experience with frontend development - React or similar frameworks

Responsibilities

• Participer activement aux rituels d'équipe tels que les synchronisations quotidiennes, les sessions de planification, les démonstrations et les discussions techniques approfondies.
• Contribuer à la construction de composants backend en Python / FastAPI ou de composants frontend en React/Typescript, ou une combinaison des deux.
• Apprendre et grandir en tant qu'individu en apprenant de notre équipe expérimentée, en contribuant à une couche fondamentale du produit.

Requirements

Availability for a 6-month full-time internship

• Strong engineering fundamentals with a passion for simplicity and precision
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential as we operate in a remote environment requiring clear and effective communication
• Fantastic Computer Science fundamentals. Data structures, algorithms, networking, distributed systems, databases, and everything in between!
• Exposure to AWS, especially Lambda
