  • Define API-driven and service-oriented data-access and integration patterns that reduce tightly coupled application-to-database dependencies.
  • Design solutions enabling end-to-end lineage, change-impact analysis, data quality, metadata, stewardship, governance, security, and authoritative-source management.
  • Analyze complex datasets and develop database solutions, SQL, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and related database objects as needed.
  • Optimize database and data-engineering performance through effective design of indexes, constraints, partitions, sequences, query patterns, and integration workloads.
  • Assess legacy Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server implementations and define modernization strategies, including PostgreSQL migration, API/service enablement, modern integration patterns, and containerized deployment.
  • Establish and enforce database and data-engineering standards, design patterns, development practices, automated testing, and technical/code review processes.
  • Evaluate emerging databases, integration, cloud, container, and data-platform technologies and recommend adoption aligned with enterprise architecture and modernization goals.
  • Support data-storage architecture, deployments, releases, testing, conversion, upgrades, production implementation, semantic modeling, and authoritative/master/reference data strategies.
