Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in
  • Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field is preferred
  • Proven professional experience as a
  • Node.js Developer, Backend Developer or similar role
  • Node.js
  • and server-side JavaScript/TypeScript development
  • Solid knowledge of
  • TypeScript and/or JavaScript
  • Experience with Node.js frameworks such as
  • Express, NestJS, Fastify or similar
  • Experience designing, developing and integrating
  • RESTful APIs

Strong understanding of

  • asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures Experience working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar
  • Knowledge of, data modelling and database optimisation, such as MongoDB, is valued
  • Git
  • and modern version control practices
  • Experience writing and maintaining
  • automated tests, using frameworks such as Jest or equivalent
  • Understanding of
  • API security and web application security best practices
  • Experience with application deployment and modern
  • DevOps practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to scalable and maintainable solutions
  • Agile development environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • React or other frontend technologies
  • GraphQL
  • Knowledge of
  • Kafka, RabbitMQ or other messaging systems Experience with microservices and distributed systems
  • WebSockets or real-time applications
  • AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms and cloud deployment
  • Knowledge of
  • Redis
  • OpenTelemetry, Prometheus or Grafana
  • Critical thinking and autonomy
