Senior Application Security Engineer

Join Redgate, a leading provider of software solutions for data professionals. As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will embed security expertise directly into the software development process, ensuring that security is prioritized from design to release. You will work closely with engineering and product teams, lead threat modeling, and drive the adoption of security tools. This is a hybrid role based in Cambridge, with a salary range of £60,000 to £75,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with engineering and product teams to define and operationalise security requirements across the full SDLC.
• Own or co-own application security governance: secure-by-default standards, patterns, guardrails, and risk exceptions.
• Lead threat modelling for new features and architectural changes, turning findings into practical engineering work.
