Fullstack Software Engineer (Business Systems)

Join WHOOP, a leading performance optimization company, as a Software Engineer II on the Business Systems team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain internal tools and integrations that power our business operations. You will work cross-functionally with teams across WHOOP to ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable, and efficient. You will also interface with critical business systems, contribute to the design and implementation of APIs and data pipelines, and collaborate with other engineers to improve engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Concevoir, construire et maintenir des outils internes et des intégrations qui soutiennent les opérations commerciales.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions
• Experience in relational database design, data modeling, and query optimization
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Experience developing large scale, production-quality web applications

• Experience in API design, integrations, or middleware in a business systems environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an eagerness to work cross-functionally
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience
• Thrives with autonomy, with a positive attitude and ownership mentality
