Staff Operations Engineer

Mozilla as a Staff Operations Engineer, where you will lead the design, reliability, and evolution of hybrid-cloud and workplace infrastructure. In this senior role, you will drive complex initiatives, set technical direction, and ensure systems are scalable, secure, and efficient. You will collaborate across teams, influence technical decisions, and contribute to the medium- and long-term technical strategy.

Requirements

• Solid expertise in:
• Strong experience designing and operating production infrastructure
• Linux/Unix Operating Systems
• Cisco UCS
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical work across teams
• Data center environments
• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Python

Preferred

• Puppet/Ansible/etc
• Familiarity with observability tooling and reliability practices
• Experience with containerization and modern platform tooling
