Senior Contract C++ / JavaScript Software Engineer (Browser Engine)

Join Mozilla as a Senior Contract C++ / JavaScript Software Engineer. You will work with the Firefox DOM Core team to improve the Session History area by writing tests, fixing problems, and enhancing code correctness. Responsibilities

• Contribuer à l'amélioration de la couverture des tests et de la correction du code dans la zone de l'historique des sessions de Firefox.
• Écrire des tests Web-Platform et des tests mochitests Gecko pour améliorer la couverture.
• Travailler en collaboration avec les propriétaires de modules Gecko pour passer en revue le code et itérer jusqu'à l'atterrissage.

Requirements

• Solid Javascript and applying that language skill to write automated tests
• Comfort working in the open: public bugs, code review, and upstream landing
• Strong debugging skills in a mature larget codebase
• Substantial experience in a browser-engine codebase or in automating for a browser-engine, ideally Firefox/Gecko
• Proficiency in and experience developing software in C++
• Familiarity with web standards and Web Platform Tests

• Prior contributions to Gecko or another major browser engine
