Data Center Hardware Engineer

Join Mistral, a leading AI solutions provider, as a Data Center Hardware Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing server and cluster hardware, managing parts, and contributing to process improvements. You will work on-site at one of our data centers in Bessé-sur-Braye, Pays de la Loire. Ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in data centers or server hardware, basic Linux knowledge, and be physically able to work in a data center environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair server and cluster hardware, including CPUs, memory, drives, NICs, GPUs, PSUs, and interconnect problems.
• Manage parts inventory, including receiving, labeling, and tracking inventory, running RMAs, and coordinating with vendors.
• Contribute to improving processes by feeding recurring anomalies into monitoring, alerts, and SOPs, and contributing small scripts if you have those skills.
