Technical & Reporting Manager

As a Technical & Reporting Accountant/Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting for our global operations. You will lead SEC filings, support the consolidation process, and maintain robust accounting policies and internal controls. Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual filings in accordance with SEC requirements, and assist with the full monthly global consolidation process.
• Draft and update technical accounting memos covering policies, procedures, and positions for a range of topics, including implementation and compliance with new accounting standards.
• Manage deliverables for annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors, and support ad hoc projects as necessary.
• Experience with SOX 404 and internal controls over financial reporting

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
• Capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities
• Ability to learn and understand financial accounting systems/software
• 4-6 years of experience in public accounting serving publicly traded clients or a mix of public accounting and public company work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA candidate preferred
• Project management including consistently establishing and meeting timelines

Preferred

• Experience with Workiva, Shareworks is a plus
• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry experience preferred
