Junior Accountant

Join iBanFirst, a fast-growing European fintech revolutionizing international payments for SMEs. As a Junior Accountant, you'll support the UK-based Group Financial Controller and the Belgium-based Senior accounting team. You'll gain valuable experience in a medium-sized, high-growth, international FX and payments firm. Your responsibilities will include verifying and entering invoices, preparing supplier payments, bank account reconciliation, and assisting in the preparation of management accounts.

Responsibilities

• Verification and entry of invoices and expense reports; preparation of supplier payments; bank account reconciliation.
• Support the Group financial Controller in maintaining robust finance controls; assist in the preparation of management accounts; take ownership of various month-end procedures.
• Learn and leverage AI to improve automation within the finance team; contribute to the drafting and updating of accounting and administrative procedures.
