Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Join Fivetran, a leading company in building data pipelines for the modern data stack. As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall performance and reliability of Fivetran's infrastructure, the robustness of the deployment pipeline, and timely incident response and resolution. You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, support, sales engineers, and solution architects to drive the future of the Fivetran Data Platform Reliability.

Responsibilities

• Responsable de la performance et de la fiabilité de l'infrastructure de production de Fivetran, en surveillant la disponibilité, la capacité et le débit.
• Coordonner la priorisation ou la correction des bogues critiques pour les exigences de support ou de vente, et faire des recommandations pour l'infrastructure de production.
• Assurer le déploiement d'artefacts évolutifs dans tous les environnements grâce à des scripts d'automatisation.
• Experience with cloud networking like Site-to-Site VPNs, Privatelinks and Private Service connect (GCP)

Requirements

• AI-assisted engineering: Experience using AI tools for code review, automation, incident analysis, documentation, and reducing operational toil
• Experience with Linux operating systems internals and administration
• Experience in Python/Shell scripting and Go Language. Bonus if you have Java
• Expertise in managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, and GKE)
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms and related tooling: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (GCP), Terraform, Ansible, Buildkite, Pulumi and ArgoCD
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL
• 5+ years of experience working with SaaS products at scale
