Credit Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze a portfolio of European high-yield, stressed and distressed credits, taking ownership of sectors and topical names.
• Conduct in-depth fundamental credit analysis, relative value assessments, and develop forward-looking valuation models to generate actionable investment ideas.
• Collaborate with reporters, lawyers, and other professionals to generate cross-disciplinary research and analysis, and respond promptly to subscriber requests.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and assess business performance

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years in credit research (buy-side or sell-side) or investment banking
• Strong understanding of business operations, key risks, revenue drivers, credit metrics, and macroeconomic factors
• Proficient in building capital structures, financial modeling, scenario analysis and cash flow projections
• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
