Senior Developer

AutoRek, a leading financial management solutions provider, as a Senior Developer. In this role, you will lead the configuration of solutions using AutoRek's low-code platform, implement and test the core financial management solution, and act as a subject matter expert for solution configuration. You will also prepare build plans, estimate development and testing work, and guide the project build team. Additionally, you will complete unit testing and end-to-end testing, manage defect triage and remediation, and lead project go-lives. Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration of solutions using AutoRek’s low-code platform and guide the team through build and test phases.
• Act as an AutoRek subject matter expert (SME) for configuration of solutions, review and sign off solution designs.
• Prepare build plans, estimate development and testing work, and guide configuration and code in line with agreed requirements and designs.

Requirements

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Proven experience delivering configuration/code on time and within budget
• Familiarity with Change Control Process and scope management
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong MS SQL skills, data querying & manipulation
• SQL performance tuning expertise
• Experience in defining test cases and defect management
• Strong understanding of software development and implementation lifecycle
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SSRS or similar reporting tools

Preferred

Experience acting as a technical lead on projects

• Industry based reconciliation development or other reconciliation software tool experience
• Educated to degree level in a technical subject or equivalent experience
• Operational SME experience within the Payments sector
• Background in FinTech, SaaS, or Finance
