Full Stack Software Engineer (Level 5)

Responsibilities

• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des applications logicielles web et mobiles de pointe, en suivant des pratiques de conception et d'implémentation de haute qualité.
• Implémenter des fonctionnalités et des interfaces utilisateur pour optimiser les performances des produits orientés utilisateur, et contribuer à la culture d'ingénierie de Snap en travaillant sur des bibliothèques et des systèmes partagés.
• Utiliser des outils d'IA et des flux de travail d'ingénierie à haute vitesse pour concevoir et expédier des services évolutifs tout en respectant des normes rigoureuses en matière de correction du code, de sécurité et de qualité du code prêt pour la production.

Understanding of domain driven design principles

• Experience optimizing JavaScript performance and browser layout rendering
• Adaptability in learning and applying evolving AI systems and tools to remain at the forefront of engineering trends and modern development practices

Requirements

• Experience with full stack web development
• Highly proficient in Java, Golang, NodeJs, and/or Python
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of practical work experience
• Solid knowledge of unit testing

Writing code for User Interface components

• Highly proficient in JavaScript (and/or TypeScript), HTML, and CSS
• Proficiency in, or a strong aptitude for, leveraging AI tools to streamline development, paired with the critical judgment to audit generated output for architectural integrity, performance bottlenecks, and security risks
• Ability to identify and resolve performance and scalability issue
• Experience in front end design and/or web application development
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming principles
• Experience developing front-end software using Javascript UI Frameworks (i.e React, Angular, Vue)
• 6+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience; or Master’s degree in a technical field + 5+ year of post-grad software development experience; or PhD in a relevant technical field+ 2+ years of post-grad software development experience
• Experience with WebGL, Canvas, WebAssembly, Service workers, or other advanced front-end technology
• Experience with GraphQL

Experience with large-scale microservices and distributed systems

• Experience with NoSQL solutions, Memcache/Redis, Kubernetes, or Google/AWS services
• Passion for building a rich and innovative user experience
