Qualifyze as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where you will play a strategic role in defining, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based server and database infrastructure. You will work closely with team leads and the software architect, ensuring alignment across our engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Additionally, you will mentor other engineers on DevOps best practices and proactively identify opportunities for system improvements.

  • Definir, implementar y mantener la infraestructura de servidores y bases de datos en la nube, gestionada con Kubernetes.
  • Ser responsable de la configuración y gestión de nuestro sistema de monitoreo, utilizando todos los módulos de Datadog para la supervisión proactiva de la infraestructura.
  • Colaborar estrechamente con los líderes de equipo y el arquitecto de software para garantizar la alineación en nuestros esfuerzos de ingeniería, y ser parte activa de nuestro gremio técnico.
  • Experience creating and managing pipelines and workflows, with GitHub Actions or similar

Requirements

  • Significant experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, Helm, and tools like Datadog
  • Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and drive them to completion with minimal oversight
  • Passion for creating pragmatic solutions that align with product and business needs
  • A strategic mindset, with a willingness to participate in high-level discussions on product and infrastructure strategy
  • Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements, with experience implementing compliant solutions in a cloud environment
  • Effective communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders across various departments

Good knowledge of managing IaC with Terraform

  • Ability to lead initiatives independently and provide technical expertise to the engineering team
  • Experience collaborating with software development teams and technical leadership, including architects and team leads
