DevOps Engineer

Join SWTCH, a growing tech company, as a DevOps Engineer. In this collaborative role, you will design, build, and optimize our AWS container platform, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tooling. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment, testing, and software delivery. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize AWS container platform, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment, testing, and software delivery.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions, improving reliability and build speeds and moving towards push-to-deploy.
• Experience deploying and managing infrastructure as code with OpenTofu or Terraform

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, release engineering, or build automation, including 3+ years with large-scale distributed infrastructure and client-server architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS ECS (Fargate and/or EC2), Docker, and container technologies in a microservices environment
• Experience with CI/CD (ideally GitHub Actions), continuous testing, and monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana and Prometheus-compatible metrics (e.g., VictoriaMetrics)

Strong experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure automation

• Experience with Kafka-compatible streaming systems such as Redpanda or Kafka
