Responsibilities

1\. Contract Administration & Governance

  • \-Manage and administer contracts across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions
  • \-Oversee contract documentation, including subcontracts, amendments, and change orders
  • \-Ensure adherence to contract frameworks (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, or bespoke client contracts)
  • \-Provide guidance to project teams on contractual obligations, rights, and risk exposure
  • \-Lead the assessment and management of variations, claims, and disputes, particularly for MEP and specialist packages

Job Summary

\-We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support the delivery of large-scale data centre / mission-critical developments.

\-This role will manage the full spectrum of contractual and commercial activities, ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations, commercial strategy, and risk management protocols.

\-The successful candidate will play a key role in administering contracts, managing claims and variations, and supporting procurement and delivery teams across high-value CSA and MEP packages.

Key Responsibilities

2\. Commercial & Claims Management

  • \-Mechanical systems (HVAC, cooling infrastructure)
  • \-Electrical systems (MV/LV, UPS, generators)
  • \-Specialist data centre equipment and installations

Qualifications

  • \-Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • \-Typically 10–15 years of experience in contract management within construction or infrastructure projects
  • \-Strong experience administering contracts for large, complex developments, ideally including data centres or mission-critical facilities
  • \-Solid understanding of: Contract law and administration, Claims and dispute resolution, Commercial risk management
  • \-Experience working with FIDIC, NEC, or similar contract forms
  • \-Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
