Project Environmental Engineer

As a Senior Project Environmental Manager, you will lead the environmental strategy and governance for major power transmission projects, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and minimizing impacts. • Lead the environmental strategy, governance and assurance framework for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with Nexans’ management system, contractual obligations, consent conditions and UK environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the senior environmental adviser and trusted challenge to the Project Director/Project Manager and leadership team, ensuring environmental performance, risks, opportunities and improvement actions are visible and effectively governed.
• Independently lead the development, implementation and maintenance of Project Environmental Management Plans, environmental procedures, controls, registers and reporting arrangements from tender through to project close-out.
