Staff Software Engineer, Messaging Experience

Join Braze, a leading customer engagement platform, as a Staff Software Engineer on the Messaging Experience team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving Canvas, our flagship product. You will bridge the gap between the customer-facing dashboard and the underlying orchestration engines, driving architectural direction and ensuring a high-quality experience across the division. You will also mentor engineers, champion reliability and operability, and deliver code.

Partnership on the technical vision and quality bar for the division, driving architectural direction and defining best practices.

Responsibilities

• Leading large, ambiguous projects end-to-end, driving efforts that span multiple teams from initial problem framing to operational support.
• Mentoring engineers at every level, simplifying hard problems, connecting technical decisions to business outcomes, and raising the bar through code review.
