## Description

We are looking for an ELL Support Teacher for a bilingual school located in Beijing. This position is available from August 2027 for the 2027/28 academic year.

Job details

  • Support English Language Learners across the school, helping them access the mainstream curriculum with confidence
  • Assess students' English levels and identify their individual learning needs
  • Plan and deliver small-group and one-to-one lessons, design and mark assessments, and write report comments
  • Partner with class and subject teachers to adapt materials and strategies so every learner can take part fully
  • Monitor student progress and set targets so every learner can improve
  • Give clear, constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Create a supportive, safe and inclusive learning environment

## Requirements

  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Bachelor's degree or above in English, Education, Linguistics or a related subject
  • At least 2 years as a lead classroom or ELL/EAL teacher, ideally in a bilingual setting
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Enthusiastic, responsible, and a strong team player in a multicultural setting
