## Description

We are looking for a Secondary Physics Teacher for an international school in Bangkok, Thailand. This position is available from January 2027.

About the School

This international school offers education from Kindergarten through to Junior College, combining the Singaporean curriculum with Cambridge international programmes. Its secondary programme places a strong emphasis on Mathematics, Science and English, leading to Cambridge IGCSE and A Level qualifications. The school promotes inquiry, critical thinking and independent learning alongside creativity and character development, with graduates progressing to universities in Thailand, Singapore, the UK, the US and other international destinations

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with Cambridge IGCSE Physics
• Develop students’ conceptual understanding, scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Use practical investigations to develop experimental skills, data analysis and evaluation
• Prepare students for the theoretical and practical assessment requirements of the syllabus
• Use assessment to identify misconceptions, adapt teaching and provide targeted support
• Provide effective feedback, revision and examination preparation
• Connect Physics concepts to relevant applications and scientific developments
• Maintain safe laboratory practice and ensure students follow appropriate safety procedures
• Contribute to curriculum planning, resource development and Science or STEM activities
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues and uphold safeguarding and professional standards

## Requirements

• Degree in Physics, Physics Education or a closely related discipline
• Recognised teaching qualification or professional teaching status, such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent
• At least three years of Secondary Physics teaching experience, including substantial IGCSE experience
• Recent experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625)
• Strong practical laboratory skills and experience conducting safe experiments
• Fluency in written and spoken English for teaching and professional communication
• Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
