Senior Software Engineer

Summary The Senior Software Engineer has responsibilities extending to the development and implementation of application and systems software within the product line.

Responsibilities

• Additionally, the position will develop, debug, and verify software applications and system components to enhance product functionality and integrate system features.
• Duties include (but are not limited to): Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components and features.
• Take ownership of specific modules or components, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with architects and team members to implement system designs.
• Develop and execute testing strategies to ensure software quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.
• Contribute to system integration and end-to-end feature delivery.
• Participate in technical discussions and design reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical growth.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing
• Design Outputs/Program Deliverables Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7~12 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in software development, lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Strong experience in object-oriented design methodology and programming languages, including C++, C#, or similar Experience in application development, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Business-level English communication skills for global collaboration Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related computer field Experience in application development using modern frameworks and development tools Experience in medical image processing.
• Experience in integrating AI/ML models into applications.
• Experience with API development and system integration.
• Experience with integrating open-source solutions into applications.
• Experience with UI frameworks (WPF, Qt).
