Test Engineering Intern

Join our Component Test Engineering team as a Test Engineering Intern. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and validation of vehicle components, work closely with cross-functional teams, and assist in troubleshooting issues. This internship offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry and develop valuable skills in testing and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assister à la mise en place, à l'exploitation et à la surveillance des équipements d'essai pour effectuer des tests sur des composants mécaniques, électriques et thermiques.
• Collecter et analyser les données d'essai pour évaluer la fonctionnalité et la qualité des composants, et soutenir le développement des procédures d'essai.
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec des équipes interfonctionnelles (conception, fabrication et qualité) pour communiquer les résultats des essais et suggérer des améliorations.
• Understanding of basic manufacturing and fabrication processes

Requirements

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program or greater in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or related engineering field
• Familiarity with Python and LabVIEW
• Understanding of 2D drawing layout and GD&T

Prior experience in automotive projects

• Work authorized in the United States OR ability to obtain necessary work visa
• Ability to create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using CATIA 3DExperience
• Understanding of High Voltage (HV) architecture of electric powertrains
• Motivation to learn on the job and take ownership of a project; with guidance
• Familiarity with developing schematics, testing & data acquisition hardware, and creating test scripts for various electrical, mechanical/structural, and thermal tests
