Software Engineer (Account Security)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and land features to prevent, detect, and mitigate account takeovers.
• Collaborate cross-organizationally with partner teams in InfoSec, Economy, User, and the broader Roblox Safety org.
• Instrument and analyze user interaction data to inform design decisions and maximize product impact.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technical solutions

Requirements

• Experience working on user facing applications or services

3+ years of experience in Software Engineering/Computer Science

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as GoLang, Python, C#, and Javascript
• A strong commitment to designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that prioritize user safety, data integrity, and compliance with safety policies
