Responsibilities

  • Support the product team in developing new product features and enhancing existing ones.
  • Utilize statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to analyze data and derive insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate findings and implement solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience with and technical understanding of statistical modeling & machine learning techniques
  • A passion for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) is a big plus
  • In the 3rd year of statistics, computer science, math, physics, economics, or other technical undergraduate program; consideration may be given to graduate students as well. Creative thinker, fast learner, good grades
  • Experience with big data/deploying models into production is a plus (Spark, AWS, Docker, Flask, plumber)
  • Strong coding ability in R and/or Python, passionate about data science and the technology industry. Some experience with SQL is a plus
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving skills are imperative
  • Business acumen - making sure your work is practical and useful
  • Strong communication skills - we are a team, we expect you to work collaboratively across all functions. You will have constant communication with non-technical stakeholders
