Implementation Consultant

Join the Xceptor Delivery Team as an Implementation Consultant, where you will be responsible for implementing Xceptor projects across the financial services industry. You will assist clients from project inception to go-live, gather customer requirements, configure the product, and manage the full development cycle. Responsibilities

• Assisting clients from project inception to ‘go live,’ and ensuring that key relationships with clients are developed and maintained.
• Gathering customer requirements by liaising with business teams to produce the right specifications, before configuring the product to meet the needs of clients.
• Working closely with the client to design, configure and build the solution, and providing demos to clients and delivering and supporting release packages.

Requirements

• Elements of the software are designed to allow users to transfer Excel skills; so, a good knowledge of Excel or Access would be beneficial

Strong XML skills

• Familiarity with various software deployment models, including on-premises, SaaS, and hybrid environments, to guide client configurations
• Programming language experience with a preference for Object Orientated languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python
• 4+ years of work experience in a similar, customer-facing role gained with a software solutions organization
• Relational Database experience such as SQL or Oracle
• University degree (or equivalent): Any BSc degree, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Economics or Engineering

Preferred

• Preferably some software development experience such as .NET or Java
