Responsibilities

U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba

• Act on behalf of the Project Manager during absences with full decision-making authority.
• Assist in overseeing food service operations, staffing, scheduling, and supervision.
• Coordinate with Government representatives and attend meetings as required.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
• Assist with performance monitoring, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Support contingency, migrant feeding, and special operations as directed.

Requirements

• 5 years
• of experience managing cafeteria-style or multi-entrée operations.
• 2 years
• of supervisory experience.
• 3 years
• experience as a unit manager or assistant manager.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree in food management may substitute for 3 years of management experience.
• 3–5 years military food service experience at E-9, Warrant, or Commissioned Officer level may substitute for management experience.
