Responsibilities

• Weekly Sunday worship services
• Choir rehearsals
• Special religious services and events
• Play prelude, offertory, hymns, and postlude music
• to scheduled services
• Coordinate with Chaplain staff on music selection and scheduling
• Support congregational singing and liturgical flow

Requirements

• 20 minutes prior
• Maintain professionalism and appropriate appearance at all times
• 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (up to 52 per year)
• Up to 52 annually
• Up to 12 per year
• Bachelor’s degree in
• Piano or Organ Performance
• 2 years experience
• as a church or chapel pianist (within last 5 years)
• Sight-read music
• four-part harmony
• Strong familiarity with hymnal music and liturgical services
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Letter of recommendation from a Senior Chaplain (within last 12 months)
