The Substitute Instructor will provide qualified backup instructional coverage to prevent interruption of scheduled academic services.
Responsibilities
- The Substitute Instructor will work as needed whenever an assigned instructor is absent or otherwise unavailable.
- Availability must support scheduled evening, online, and applicable in-person classes.
- Provide instructional coverage when the primary instructor is unavailable.
- Follow the established syllabus, course schedule, and learning outcomes.
- Maintain continuity of assignments, assessments, and student progress.
- Coordinate course status with Ladgov program management and academic personnel.
Requirements
- Must meet the same applicable qualification standards as the instructor being replaced.
- Must possess appropriate subject-matter expertise for the assigned course.
- Must be capable of providing online or in-person instruction as required.
- Must satisfy applicable NNSY security and access requirements.
