Senior Data Analyst

FalconX, a leading cryptocurrency and blockchain technology company, as a Senior Data Analyst. In this role, you will partner with various finance teams to build automation, improve data quality, and deliver the analytics and reporting infrastructure that Finance relies on to scale with the business. You will also support process transformation initiatives, build dynamic data visualizations, and ensure high data quality and integrity across all data analysis and reporting operations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or project management, and a passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Partner with Finance Data Analytics teams to design and build automation across existing processes in GL, treasury, accounting, FP&A, and other Finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop current-state operating model assessments and business process flows to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Build dynamic data visualizations and reporting that support management decision-making, and ensure high data quality, integrity, and auditability across all data analysis and reporting operations.

Requirements

• This role requires strength in business process change implementation, developing current-state operating model assessments and partnering with Finance, Engineering, Systems, and other teams across FalconX to define and deliver the ideal target state

Ability to prioritize and manage challenging deadlines

• Strong command of data wrangling tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL)
• Tenacity for problem solving and navigating obstacles, including uncertain or changing data sources, processes, and procedures
• A firm understanding of GAAP accounting principles, with familiarity in GL/subledger design and mapping transactional data to journal entries
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate issues of varying complexity and propose solutions
• Macro-to-micro versatility: a strategic mindset coupled with a keen attention to detail
• SQL or Python coursework or hands-on experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field

Preferred

• Prior prime brokerage or broker-dealer experience is a plus
• 5+ years of relevant experience in audit, finance, finance transformation, big data, project management, or accounting within financial services (crypto, prime brokerage, or Big 4 experience a plus)
• Project management experience, including Agile methodologies
• Passion for cryptocurrency, web3, and blockchain technology
• CPA professional license is a plus

USD 128,000 - 162,000
