Senior 3D Printing R&D Engineer

Join our innovative R&D team as a Senior 3D Printing R&D Engineer. In this role, you will create new 3D printing techniques, lead projects, and tackle complex problems across multiple engineering disciplines. You will work closely with other engineering teams to implement improvements to current products and evaluate printer performance for areas of improvement. A background in engineering, experience with experiment design and data analysis, and familiarity with mechanical design and programming are required.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• B.S., M.S., or PhD in an engineering field (all are welcome)
• Able to design and build test fixtures for experiments

Familiar with mechanical design, mechatronics, and CAD modeling

• Questions assumptions and are willing to back it up with data
• Understand programming and scientific computing, ideally Python or Matlab
• 3+ years post-graduate experience
• Have experience with experiment design and data analysis
• Developed physics-based models of complex systems
• Previous work on a consumer product
