Senior Group Accountant

As a Senior Group Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our Finance team, responsible for monthly and statutory reporting, group consolidation, and building the reporting, close, and audit processes. This is a hands-on role for a technically strong, audit-trained accountant who wants to make a significant impact in a high-growth startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Run the month-end and year-end close to the group close calendar, including journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and payroll postings, and own full balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reporting and support the wider reporting pack for internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, investors, lenders and auditors.
• Own technical accounting assessments and prepare accounting papers and memos on judgemental areas and complex transactions.
