Senior Frontend/Fullstack Software Engineer (Sharing)

Roblox as a Senior Frontend/Fullstack Software Engineer on the Sharing team. You will build the foundation for how millions of users capture, share, and discover content on Roblox Moments. This role involves working across the stack, from client-side user flows to backend systems, and collaborating closely with product and other engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• You will own projects end to end, identify gaps in performance, and contribute to a strong team culture.

Requirements

• Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in building production frontend or client applications, deep hands-on React experience, and a curiosity about working in multiple languages and runtimes.
• Solid web and client fundamentals: modern JavaScript, rendering and layout, and the judgment to know when a framework abstraction is helping you and when it's in your way
• 5+ years building production frontend or client applications, working on complex user interfaces in close partnership with product and design
• Deep hands-on React experience: hooks, component composition, render performance, and state management at scale with Redux or comparable patterns
• Curiosity about working in more than one language and runtime, and enthusiasm for learning Luau if you don't know it yet
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience​

Preferred

• Experience integrating with backend services over REST or GraphQL, and designing client data flows that stay resilient when the network doesn't cooperate
