• Ownership of well-defined projects from start to finish, focusing on user experience and quality.
• Building and maintaining the platform that enables all teams in the company to send notifications.
• Collaborating with Machine Learning engineers to optimize global notification signals and quality.
• Attention to detail and a quality-first mindset: you sweat the right details and catch your own bugs before they reach customers
• You are motivated to help your team members succeed, grow, and learn from each other through empathetic feedback
• A track record of delivering high quality software reliably and on time

Requirements

2+ years of professional software engineering experience

• A customer-focused approach and comfort working toward clear, measurable team goals
• Proficiency in one or more of Python, Elixir, or Typescript with eagerness to learn new languages and skills
• You are a Discord user, and understand the core features and flow of Discord communications
• You have previously worked on notifications or been a part of a growth team
