Join Discord as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer in the Social Commerce team. You will be responsible for building cross-platform purchase flows, social gifting experiences, and commerce surfaces. You will collaborate with other engineers, lead projects through the entire life cycle, work directly with game studio partners, and collaborate closely with product, design, and game developers. Responsibilities

  • Construire des flux d'achat multiplateformes, des expériences de cadeaux sociaux et des surfaces de commerce qui répondent aux besoins des utilisateurs.

  • Expertise with at least a couple parts of our tech stack: Python, Typescript/React, Elixir, Rust being the main areas. You are comfortable switching across stacks or learning new ones
  • You actively leverage AI coding tools to accelerate your productivity

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as a software engineer

2+ years of professional experience with Typescript/React

  • You have a sense for product and design. We don’t operate in silos, and you’ll be collaborating closely with cross-functional peers. You should be able to express opinions and collaborate to make something great
  • Comfort with ambiguity and experimentation. This team ships A/B tests, reads results, and changes direction. You should be someone who thrives in that environment rather than waiting for a fully-baked spec
  • Experience with game development
  • Experience with mobile development

Preferred

  • Experience leveraging a cloud platform (GCP, Amazon, or Azure) to serve as the backend infrastructure for a product
